Active State of Hawaii employees can access HIP by typing hip.hawaii.gov in an internet browser, and logging on with their HIP ID and password. NOTE: To use certain secure features in HIP such as direct deposit, you need to use a computer connected to the State network. If you do not have access to a computer for your job, departments have been tasked with providing an accessible computer that can be used by all staff.
